Ceramic Sand (Also known as Zirconia Sand, Apple Sand)
This product is a fused spherical ceramic sand primarily composed of zirconium oxide (zirconia). It delivers outstanding performance in both dry and wet blasting systems, as well as shot peening equipment. Thanks to Zhenzhong's specialized smelting process and advanced screening system, our ceramic sand ensures extremely precise particle size distribution, perfect particle morphology, and an exceptionally long service life, significantly reducing manufacturing costs for customers. Based on particle size and sphericity, it is categorized into: Ceramic Sand B Series (blast), and Aerospace Shot Peening Z Series (shot).
 
Application
Initially developed for the 3C industry, this consumable has been used since the mobile phone for blasting metal components and back covers via blasting machines. It is now primarily used for blast cleaning, surface pretreatment, surface finishing, and shot peening of materials such as high-carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, titanium alloy, magnesium alloy, brass, copper alloy, and plastics. 
For example: Coarse B20~B60 series ceramic sand is mainly used for blast cleaning various industrial components like molds, engine parts, turbomachinery components, welded steel parts, forgings, and cast metals. The fine B120~B205 series ceramic beads are primarily used for achieving very smooth polishing and a unique satin finish on surfaces of stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, magnesium, and even plastics. They also provide aesthetically pleasing, high-quality components for various applications including automotive, aerospace, electronics, home appliances, sporting goods, and construction.

Monoclinic Zirconia for Brake Pads
This product is manufactured using patented technology, involving the electric melting and desiliconization of zircon sand. It is available in two forms: hollow spheres and solid particles. Benefiting from unique smelting and heat treatment processes, the product exhibits high sintering strength and excellent thermal shock resistance, making it suitable for high-temperature material applications. Currently, in the international commercial brake pad market, ceramic formulas require the addition of 3%-5% monoclinic zirconia as a friction modifier (abrasive additive).
 
Application
Friction and braking industry. Utilizing zirconia's wear resistance and high-temperature performance.
 
Specification

Mg-Zirconia / Magnesia-Stabilized Zirconia.
Produced using various grades of zirconia raw materials and stabilizers like magnesia, these are electric fused magnesia-stabilized zirconia and magnesia-yttria co-stabilized zirconia products. The crystal phase composition consists of monoclinic and cubic phases. New additions include yttria-free magnesia-stabilized zirconia and white magnesia-stabilized zirconia made from chemical zirconia.
 
Application
Zirconia foam ceramic filters, sizing nozzles, crucibles, nozzles, grinding wheels, ceramic structural components, etc.
